Urban Paulsson, Chairman of the Board - Urban Paulsson is a partner at Karlerö Liljeblad Advokatbyrå (KLA) a Swedish Law firm where he heads the Life Sciences practice. He joined KLA from Bird & Bird where he had been a partner since 2002 heading their Life Science Group in Stockholm. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. His experience of the Life Sciences industry starts in 1994, when he joined the Pharmacia Corporation as a Legal Counsel. He has also worked as General Counsel for Vitrolife AB, a biotech company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Göran Smedegård, member of the board in April 2009 – Göran Smedegård is founder of Avancia Life Science Consulting a company consulting in business development. Göran Smedegård has close to 30 years experience from the pharmaceutical industry as VP Business Development & Commercial Development at Orexo, Senior Investment Manager and co-founder Innoventus, Director of Business Development at Pharmacia, Director of Licensing at AstraZeneca.
